Also joining the Seven Seas catalog are My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!Mushoku Tensei: Roxy Gets Serious, and Skeleton Knight in Another World, three adaptations of isekai novels; Creature Girls: A Field Journal in Another Worldan R-rated monster-girl series; and Eve x Eve and I Married My Best Friend to Shut My Parents Up, two new yuri manga.

In other licensing news, VIZ just revealed plans to publish Snow White with the Red Hair, a shojo fantasy by Sorata Akizuki. The series, which has been running in LaLa since 2006, features a strong-willed, resourceful heroine with — you guessed it — auburn locks.* Yen Press had publishing news as well: on September 25th, the first five volumes of Kaoru Mori’s A Bride’s Story will be released in digital format for the first time, to be followed by volumes six through nine on October 30th, and the entire print run of Emma on November 27th. For her latest Spot the Color column, Marion analyzes the role that yellow plays in the Revolutionary Girl Utena anime. Why yellow?  “Yellow is both an aggressive and versatile color,” she explains. “It’s the strongest one of the color wheel; everything fades into the background in its presence, which is why it’s so often used in ‘caution’ or ‘attention’ signs. It’s commonly associated with happiness, yet it’s also a hated color… Stare at yellow for too long and not only will your eyes hurt, it can also produce anxiety. That makes yellow a fitting color to represent obsession.” [Otaku, She Wrote]

* Updated to more accurately describe the series.
